About us

The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP) is a federal, public and free of charge institution which offers programs at several  levels of education: Vocational/Technical Programs, High School integrated to Vocational/Technical Programs and Higher Education – undergraduate programs  (Technological, Bachelor and Education Degrees) and Graduation Programs (Specialization, Academic Master and Professional Master studies).

The IFSP also offers Initial and Continuous Education (non-degree college short courses) that aims at professional development, helping students build upon skills they already have, or learn new skills, to help them advance in their current career.

Currently, the Federal Institute of São Paulo has 41 campuses located in various cities in the State of São Paulo and around 15 poles of Distance Education. The IFSP has more than 58,000 students.
